Horse & Mule Training at Non-Pareil Ranch

When you send your horse or mule to us for training, we want you to know they're getting the time, attention, and miles they need.

Jack and Chazzyn work with our training horses and mules six days a week. Depending on what each animal needs, that might mean groundwork in the round pen, riding in the arena, working through obstacles, or heading out across the ranch. Our steep foothill terrain gives us plenty of opportunities to work through situations that you just can't recreate in an arena.

Every horse and mule is different, and we work with each one according to its needs and your goals.

We welcome:

  • Colts and young horses
  • Mustangs and mules
  • Horses needing a tune-up or refresher
  • Horses with specific training or behavioral issues
  • Horses and mules preparing for trail riding, ranch work, camping, or the high country

You're Welcome to Be Part of the Training

We don't want you to feel like you're simply dropping your horse off and picking it up a month later.

You're welcome to come out and watch Jack and Chazzyn work with your horse or mule, get in the saddle and ride your animal yourself, and ask questions along the way.

Whether you need help with your riding, have questions about saddles and tack, or want to better understand what your horse is learning, we're happy to work with you.

Our goal is to help you and your horse or mule make progress together so you can continue building on that work when you get home.
