Course Options – 1 Week (5 Days):

Ranch Foundations
A great fit for beginners wanting to learn the basics of riding, handling horses and cattle, building fence, and picking up essential ranch skills in a relaxed, encouraging setting.

Cowboy Up: Advanced Ranch Skills
This course is for those who already have some experience and want to go deeper—sharpen your horsemanship, build confidence managing livestock, practice roping, and expand your backcountry knowledge.

Build Your Own Ranch Experience
Tailor your week around what interests you most—be it horsemanship, cattle work, silver or saddle repair, or learning how to thrive in the backcountry. We’ll work with you to create a week that fits.

What You’ll Experience:

• Ride and work with horses and cattle, building confidence with every task
• Learn how to build and maintain fences, care for livestock, and manage the land
• Explore traditional skills like saddle and silver repair, and gear maintenance
• Understand where your food comes from with an introduction to small-scale animal processing, done with care and intention
• Sleep under the stars, pitch a tent, or stay in a trailer—hotel lodging is also available nearby (hotel not included in course price)
• No two days are ever the same—expect the unexpected as you experience the rhythm of true ranch life

This isn’t a demonstration or a tour—you’ll be part of the crew. Work right alongside Jack and Sarah as you learn what it really takes to run a working ranch.
